Join us on a celestial journey as we explore the rich intersection of spirituality and space. The Spiritual Cosmos, our new online course with Nahum, invites you to dive in and experience the timeless quest of finding the universe deep within.
From ancient shamanic practices to the religions and rituals present in space missions, we will explore various ways humanity has sought to connect with the mysterious cosmos. As you gain a comprehensive understanding of this interdisciplinary relationship, we will invite you to awaken your own intimate relationship with the universe to instill wonder and connection.
The course will be accompanied by various readings and exercises. This includes the experience of hypnotic trance states and meditative journeys under Nahum’s guidance.

GOALS
.To explore the various ways in which cultures have sought to connect with the universe through spirituality. This includes the examination of shamanic traditions, cosmism and religion.
.To gain a thorough and interdisciplinary understanding of how spirituality and our knowledge of the universe influence and inspire each other. This will involve exploring the relationship between science and spirituality and how they complement and challenge each other.
.To awaken the participant's inner connection to the universe and instill a sense of awe and wonder for the cosmos. This includes exploring re-enchantment strategies and discovering the ways in which we can deepen our connection to the universe.
.To delve into the rich history of religion and spirituality in space activities, tracing its roots from cosmism to present-day religious practices with astronauts.
.To experience trance states to connect with the universe and delve deeper into one's own spirituality. This will involve various exercises with hypnosis and meditation designed to help participants tap into their inner connection with the cosmos.
.To create and implement your own personalized space ritual, which will allow participants to connect with the universe in a meaningful and personal way. This will include learning the principles of ritual creation and how to incorporate them into your own spiritual practice.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Nahum's oeuvre goes deep into the human experience, challenging our perceptions through unusual perspectives. He produces works that reframe the way we engage with the universe with a wide range of media. He founded the KOSMICA Institute, a space organisation focused on the cultural discourses of space activities and their impact on Earth. Nahum's work has been exhibited in countries such as the USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, UK, France, Sweden, Russia, Australia, Taiwan, China, Japan and Brazil.
Nahum was chairman of the Committee for the Cultural Utilisation of Space (ITACCUS) at the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) in Paris. He was the first artist to be awarded the Young Space Leader in 2014 and the Karman Fellowship in 2021 for his unique cultural contributions to astronautics and space exploration. He has designed space missions for artistic purposes with the European Space Agency, SpaceX, NASA and Roscosmos.
In 2011, Nahum founded the KOSMICA Institute, a space organisation with a mission to create a platform for critical, cultural, and poetic discourse about our relationship to the Universe, space activities, and their impact on Earth. The Institute develops initiatives that bridge the arts and humanities, the space sector and the broader society.
